Bianco P.A. personal injury attorney Tom Colantuono recently obtained a $275,000 award for an out-of-state resident who was injured while visiting New Hampshire. The plaintiff, a 61-year-old man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, lost a portion of the long finger on his dominant hand when a defective hotel window slammed down on it, amputating the tip.
The plaintiff underwent surgery and physical therapy but was left in constant pain, which will remain for the foreseeable future, severely affecting his ability to work.
After a four day trial, a Rockingham County jury awarded the plaintiff $275,000 in damages against the hotel.
